◌ do we create spaces or do spaces create us? ◌

Our first seksEDS lesson takes us to MOOS : a regenerative, community incubation center. Based in Berlin, it originally housed the Moosdorf & Hochhäusler factory, home to the world's first rocking bathtub. MOOS is referred to as a “community of communities”.

Currently MOOS is interfacing with the reality of building community while also respecting the rules of capital, ownership, and stewardship. This has opened a sustainability conversation where we need to radically rethink how we relate to MOOS and the deep drive to build meaning through urban community spaces.

Since 2012, MOOS has been an ecosystem provider to find communities, sustainable startups, activists and an international residency center for future economic systems and cultural independence. It also has an event center open to the public for workshops, meetings and concerts.

at EDS 001 we’ll explore what the narrative architecture of MOOS looks like. we’ll play with ritual, flow, and narrative exercises. 6 hours of intentional experience design showcasing the stories of MOOS: its players
